What a great month July has been, we have filled up the PB boards at both gyms with some really great achievements that we should all be extremely proud of. Congratulations to everyone who has hit a new PB this month, here is a little highlight of July:
While technically not for July (but close enough) it was amazing to see Mouli link together double unders for the first time, and then proceed to link seven together in a row! Great job!
This guy cannot help but overachieving, Al Thompson smashing not one, but three ring muscle ups! With video evidence included and everything!
Congratulations to Jon for finishing Nancy RX! Fantastic work!
What an effort from Jim who has only been training with us a short time to hit a 100kg squat clean!
We want everyone to continue the hard work they have been putting so we can keep seeing these amazing results. Remember to record your PBs on the wall and ring the bell, we want to share the celebration with you!
You may have also noticed that the ‘Goals’ board has been wiped clean, let’s start putting up some new goals. If you smashed your goal, think of something new. If you are still working towards and existing one, put it up again and revaluate what you need to do to reach that goal.
Your goal does not have to be complicated, keep it simple, achievable but something that will challenge you. If you are struggling to get into the gym in these cold winter mornings, your goal might be to train 4 times a week. If you have been working on strength you goal might be to increase you back squat or clean and jerk 1RM. Your goal might be to try something new, so attend a strongman or yoga class. Choose something and work towards achieving it.
We are all looking forward to seeing what everyone can achieve for the month of August! Train hard!
